The Mystical Journey
Mystical Genesis was born from the vision of two friends, Ms. Nair and Mr. Chakravarthi — one carrying generations of Ayurvedic heritage from Kerala, the other blending business acumen and a passion for holistic living.
Together, they set out to preserve ancient Ayurvedic recipes while creating pure, sustainable, and effective care for hair, face, body, and feet. What began as a dream has become a brand that unites tradition with innovation.

Hi, we’re Chakravarthi & Bhanuja Nair
For a long time, we couldn’t find anything that truly represented Ayurveda.
Indian beauty, in many ways, felt either over-modernised or stuck in the past – and often, not very accessible.
We wanted Ayurveda that felt real.
Something honest, thoughtful, easy to trust – yet still relevant, concern-focused, and backed by science.
When we couldn’t find that, we decided to create it ourselves – slowly, intentionally, and without shortcuts.
That idea eventually became Mystical Genesis Ayurveda.
This story didn’t begin with Us.
It began in Olessa, a quiet village in Kottayam, Kerala.
I, Bhanuja, grew up in a family where Ayurveda wasn’t something distant or occasional ,it was simply a part of everyday life. Olessa itself was known in the region for its Ayurvedic traditions and practices.
For generations, my family carried that legacy. My great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents, and grandparents were Ayurvedic healers, known and respected for the work they did.
Names like Keshav Pillai Vaidyan, Vaidya Kalanidhi Narayanan Nair, and Nanu Pillai Vaidyan shaped the lives of many people in our community — including ours.
The recipes, techniques, and herbs they worked with were passed down through the family.
I grew up hearing their stories, and those stories stayed with me.
That’s why we chose to build something of our own.
To bring Ayurveda and Indian beauty into the modern world in a way that feels relevant, responsible, and real.
We wanted to create products that respect where they come from while still working for how we live today.
That’s what Mystical Genesis Ayurveda is built on.
